In case of withdrawal/cancellation of admission at the University, the proposed rules for refund of fees under various heads are detailed as below :
Application fees towards processing the applications form for admissions is non-refundable.
Admission fees, paid by a candidate while confirming her or his admission is non-refundable.
Tuition fees shall not be refunded once the session commences formally. Any application for withdrawal before the start of the session may be considered for 100% refund of tuition fees.
Any request for refund of Residence charges before the commencement of session will be considered in entirety. Students, who withdraw from the Residence Hall before 15th of the month will be charged for half a month and those who withdraw after 15th of the month will be charged for full month.
Any request for refund of Dining charges before the commencement of session will be considered in entirety. Diners who withdraw from the Dining Hall before 15th of the month will be charged for Dining Services for half a month and those who withdraw after 15th of the month will be charged for full month
Caution Money or Security deposit will always be refunded in full, in case of withdrawal.
Note: If the admission of a student is cancelled due to falsification/concealment of facts, submission of false/fake documents, providing any misleading information and any mistake or error committed by student, no fees will be refunded.
While the Nalanda University has a need based policy for giving financial support to students from economically lower families, it is not guaranteed that all applicants would necessarily receive a scholarship or financial support, as there are a limited number of scholarships to be offered to the aspirants applying to the Schools.
